The three member Zoning Hearing Board is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. This Board serves a three year term. The Zoning Hearing Board acts as a decision making body for hearings related to zoning regulations, authorizing or rejecting special exceptions and variances, and interpretations and appeals of the Zoning Ordinance.
The Zoning Hearing Board holds meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. If no hearings are scheduled, the meeting is cancelled. The cancellation notice will be posted at the Township Office. Hearings are advertised in the “legal notices” section of the classifieds in the Lancaster Newspapers.
